6/5/25 Report - New Finds From the Atocha. Mel Fisher Days on the Treasure Coast Schedule This Year.

New Find from the Atocha

The above photo and following email is from a recent email from the Fisher organization.

Exciting news from the trail of the Nuestra Señora de Atocha! Members had the incredible opportunity to dive the historic wreck site alongside the Dare crew. The Dare crew is now back at the dock after 14 days on site, seven tagged artifacts were discovered—including pottery, encrusted objects, and a silver coin! Every discovery brings us closer to unlocking more of this shipwreck’s story. Congratulations to our amazing Members and the dedicated Dare crew—this is what the thrill of the hunt is all about!

And here is a link too the video that came with it.

Mel Fisher Days is coming up.  This year it will be in Sebastian and admission will be free, so if you've never been to the museum, this is a great chance for those of you from the local area.
