12/25/24 - Merry Christmas 2025!

Merry Christmas Wishes.

Back in the day all the neighborhood kids visited on Christmas morning to see what Santa brought.   I am opening a big box and my sister is wearing the cowgirl suit.  My grandma is also in the picture, as are the Simpson kids, and Loretta and Eddy (aka Bed Bug).  After I posted the video, Becky wrote and said that the doll was her all-time favorite Christmas present.

Here is that video of me and my friends.

Here is something I did this year.

When you find jewelry that can't be traced to the original owner and maybe it shows the effect of years in the surf or sand and it isn't something your wife can wear right away, get it cleaned up, resized, or even get the stones replaced, then you can present it to your wife as a Christmas gift.  I did that this year.  I had a number of things that she liked but needed to be cleaned and resized.

There are also places that will take your broken gold in trade for new custom-made pieces.

You can also take a course that will teach you how to melt your silver or gold and make new pieces of your own design.  I once did that.  When taking the course, you have access to the necessary equipment, so that by itself makes the course useful.  You can sometimes find courses like that offered at local schools or coolleges.

That is all for now.

Maybe I'll be back a little later.  Maybe.

Merry Christmas!
