4/29/22 Report - A Look At Some South Hutchinson Island Beaches.

John Brooks Beach Friday Around Noon.

Friday I took a look at some South Hutchinson Island Beaches.  We had a four to six foot surf, but it was hitting the beaches straight on.  As you can see there was still seaweed on those beaches, but not as heavy as the last time I looked.

There were no cuts at John Brooks, except for a little that was left from some time ago.  Above you can see the surf and front beach.

I haven't been to Blind Creek for a long time, but took a look today.  Due to the early rain and gloomy conditions, there were very few beach goers.

I like that kind of weather, parly because the beaches are not crowded, and I don't need a lot of sun anyhow.

I haven't been to Fort Pierce South Beach for a long time either.  During tourist season it was pretty crowded most of the time and it wasn't easy to find a parking spot unless you went early or late.

Fort Pierce South Jetty Friday

At Fort Pierce South Jetty, there was a lot of missing renourishment sand.  It never lasts long there.

There were some modern coins today.  The front slope had sand covering layers of seaweed.

I'm not expecting much of any improvement in beach conditions tomorrow, despite a little higher surf.
