Surf Chart for Sebastian Inlet From SurfGuru.com |
Since MagicSeaWeed changed, I started using SurfGuru instead. Usually, I only post one surf chart per post, so I select one spot on the Treasure Coast. That might leave you wondering how that relates to the beach that interests you. Therefore, today I decided to post surf charts for three areas that are pretty far apart so you can see how much or how little difference there is.
Above is the Surf Chart of the Sebastian Inlet. As you can see, the surf is predicted to be five to six feet today (Monday). And you can see what the rest of the chart looks like.
Below is the surf chart for the Fort Pierce Inlet area. That is a distance of about 27 miles.

You can see that the two charts are pretty similar - not more than a foot in a few time slots. Likewise, the surf and wind directions are very similar. It seems you can look at one Treasure Coast chart and figure that the others will be similar, although not exactly alike. Of course, you can always go and check the chart for the area that interests you the most, but you normally won't see a lot of difference.
Just one more example.
Below is the chart for the Jupiter area.

You can also find the web cams for the Sebastian and Fort Pierce inlets on SurfGuru.
This isn't a commercial for SurfGuru, but I've been using it a lot lately and used it for the examples.
For tides, you might choose to use the following.

It is the one recommended by Mitch King and is listed on the bottom of my reference link list.

It is nice and windy this morning and hope to get out to the beach soon, but yesterday my mom was having trouble, so I don't know.

I used to collect old and collectible books. I once wrote an article about treasure books and book treasures for a metal detecting magazine.
Charlie Watts, the drummer for the Rolling Stones, had a good collection which was auctioned by Christies.
Here is the link.
