A metal detectorist who found a rare early-medieval silver brooch has said it was his most "incredible" find ever.

The South West Heritage Trust conducted a follow-up investigation at the find site but no further significant discoveries were made
"The fact that no further significant objects were found suggests that the brooch was lost or discarded into water, rather than deliberately buried," she said.
The disc brooch dates back to between 800 and 900AD was declared as treasure at an inquest held at Taunton Coroner's Court in August.

Last night you could see the Spacex launch brightly from the Treasure Coast. From about 8:02 a bright orange light could be seen as the rocket ascended. Later the bright orange light turned into a dimmer white light but atmospheric conditions produced a large light halo effect. I'd never seen a space launch from Kennedy so well.

The system east of Jacksonville could sent some higher surf to parts of the U.S. east coast later this week, but I'm not expecting much surf from that one to reach Florida.
In my opinion the one to watch is the one farther out in the Atlantic. It is likely to develop during the next few days. Without consulting any additional data, my guess is that it will probably stay east of us, but we'll have to keep watching it. Even if it does stay out in the Atlantic, it could possibly send us some waves.

It looks like the deep state has become a real Cuckoo's nest. The most psychologically unfit are drawn to the power centers of piower like dung beetles to a fresh dropping. Different times in history are characterized by different mental illnesses. Projection seems to be the primary symptom of this time period. The most racist see others as being racist. The most unfit see others as being unfit, etc.. For a while I wondered if that might just be a political strategy, but it is becoming evident that mass delusion runs rampant in DC. Megalomaniacs like Comey and Milley provide perfect examples. Unfortunately the internet provides support groups for all sorts of delusions.
