9/7/21 Report - US Coins Worth Millions. Larry Sending Up To Seven Foot Surf. Jaw Boning.

This is today's big news for me.  It looks like a 5 - 8 foot surf peaking on Friday.

Unfortunately there are almost no north winds at any point this week.  The winds will be  -mostly west winds, which will be holding the waves up.  Like I said before - maybe good surfing.

The high tides are pretty high now.  If we can actually get an eight foot surf, or something close to it, combined with high tides, it could get some good hunting, especially at those locations that tend to erode with southeast winds.  There is at least one spot that did not recover totally from the high tides we had last winter.

So what I'll be hoping for is a peak surf combined with high tides that actually hit the dunes, and I'll be watching a few other locations that are more vulnerable to southeast swells.

Below is the current cone for Hurricane Larry.

I haven't been out to mudlark lately, but about a week or so ago picked up a pair of jaws.  I thought they were from the same animal at first, but closer examination of the teeth showed them to clearly be different.

Jaw Bones.

Just an example of the weird stuff you can find mudlarking.
