| Holed Shell Pendant With Metal Outlining. |
It looks to me like this shell, which might looks gold in the photo but is not, was shaped, and then a had a very thin metal outlining overlaid. To me it appears to be a piece of shell rather than a whole shell. It has a hole for suspension at the base. The metal is very thin, corroding, and, as you can see, has broken.
There are no marks or anything to provide any other information about the age or identity.

I don't know how the gender of the person could be determined without knowing how the person identified. You can't go by biology anymore.
