Turtle Trail Thursday Afternoon.

I took some time off and visited some of the Indian River County beaches Thursday afternoon.

Above is Turtle Trail.  You can see the top of a bunch of the erosion control bags above the center of the photo.

I saw three other detectorists at Turtle Trail and one fellow from the government who walked way down along the beach, undoubtedly inspecting erosion.

The erosion wasn't back to the old dunes yet,

Tomorrow the wind will decrease.

Ambersands Thursday Afternoon.

Ambersands had a lot of erosion.

You can see the seaweed.

The wind will switch around the surf will begin to decrease.

I did some hunting before I quit and found the usual variety of junk, plus some green U.S. coins and a couple rings.  One of the rings was silver - obviously modern - and the other was a copper alloy, which needs to be inspected.

Good hunting,
