I received lots of photos of Turtle Trail the past few days.  Here are a couple from later Friday.

I would say that is from say down south of the access and probably the second flag pole.

DJ said he found an area where the older orange sand was just a few inches deep, and found this piece of lead.

Interesting Find by Dan K.

Here is what Dan said.

I wanted to share an interesting find that I had detecting the treasure coast recently. A Swedish 50 Ore coin likely dated between 1952-1961. It seems like the coin was cut and made into some kind of pendant. I thought it was a very unique find and wanted to share. I’ve enjoyed your blog for many years now and appreciate the wealth of knowledge you share with the metal detecting community. I’ve spent many hours reading through your archive of old posts from past years. I have yet to find any shipwreck items but it is a dream of mine to do so one day. Thank you again. Dan

Good find Dan.

Thanks to all of you for sharing.

Don't forget to check around on the other beaches for good spots.

We'll have some west winds and the surf will be decreasing for five or six days.

Good hunting,
