Beaches: Due to the anticipated impacts of Hurricane Isaias, City of Vero Beach and Indian River County Beach Access Points will close to the public on Saturday August 1st, at 5:00pm. Dependent on local weather conditions, the affected Beach Access Points are tentatively scheduled to re-open on the morning of Monday, August 3rd.y
Fox 29 reports Port St. Lucie parks may reopen noon Sunday depending upon weather conditions.
As of about 10 AM, the TV shows a lot of people at Fort Pierce South Jetty beach, so it looks like the St. Lucie bridges and beaches are open. I guess they could live on the island, so I'm not totally sure right now.
