3/8/21 Report - Some of the Beaches Around the Treasure Coast and Current Developments.

Written by the TreasureGuide for the exclusive use of the Treasure Beaches Report.

John Brooks Sunday Afternoon.

Sunday morning I took a look at some of the Vero area beaches, and then in the afternoon I visited some of the beaches of South Hutchinson Island.

Above is the cut running along John Brooks beach just a little after high tide.  It was a nice long cut, but I didn't detect it.  There was a detectorist to the south down near Frederick Douglass.  You can see him in the photo.

The cut at John Brooks was about three feet.  As you can see, it ran a long distance.

This morning I looked at some of the Vero area beaches again.  They were some changed since yesterday, but not much.

Turtle Trail Monday Morning.

Turtle Trail was not much changed since Sunday morning.  There were still few targets.  There were several detectorists this morning.

As you can see, the bags were still exposed along this stretch.

Seagrape Trail Monday Morning.

Seagrape Trail still had a nice high cut near the access.  There were a couple detectorists to the south and at least one to the north up around the bend.  I didn't detect Seagrape Monday.

Sunday DJ found this exposed concrete between Seagrape and Disney.

Concrete Exposed Between Disney and Seagrape Sunday.

DJ said he read there was a World War II observation tower in that area and wondered if anyone was familiar with the source of this concrete.

Any ideas on this? Let me know.

It looked like there was some good erosion around there. Here is another photo from DJ.

Wabasso looked little changed also.

Overall, it targets were scarce at all the locations I visited today.

Unfortunately the wind is now from the east.

We'll have a few more days of 4 - 6 foot surf.

I'm not expect any big changes in the next few days, but there still should be some spots worth exploring.  There are some on my list.

I have more to talk about, but that is all for today.

Happy hunting,
