"I noticed it because the bottle was like a really nice aqua," she recalled.

It was early in the morning on July 3, and she says the glass bottle - corked with something inside - was right there on the sand...

"Getting bottles is always a treasured find and it's not that hard to do that. Especially for that time period where there were a lot of bottles made," said Nagiewicz.

Based on Amy's research, she thinks it could be the oldest message in a bottle ever found...

Very nice bottle.

$200 billion treasure obtained by fraudsters from Covid relief funds.

More than $200 billion in Covid relief loans and grants were distributed to potentially fraudulent actors, nearly one-fifth of all Small Business Administration funds disbursed in the U.S., according to a new estimate by the inspector general for the SBA.

The estimate is the highest yet for the $1.2 trillion released under the SBA’s Paycheck Protection Program and the Economic Injury Disaster Loan from March 2020 to January 2022, by which time funding for both programs had ended...

It was almost exactly a year ago today that my mom told me she didn't expect to be around next year. She was right.  She passed away just a little under two months after telling me that.

Life is very short even though it might not really hit you until it starts running short and you look back and see how fast it went.

So Debby went to the Big Bend area of the Florida Gulf Coast and is supposed to cross land and go back into the Atlantic up around South Carolina.  She brought the Treasure Coast some wind and rain and enough surf to stir things up a little.  I know that along the intercoastal there was some erosion from the east and southeast waves.  It made the weather a little more bearable for being outside

The surf on the Treasure Coast will remain around one or two feet for the coming week.

It is the time of year when we usually see a variety of storms or possible storms in the Atlantic or Gulf.

I'm sure there is more to come.  The hurricane season has just begun.

Good hunting,
