With the change of wind I took a look at what I think is an little-explored old shipwreck site and found a couple of spikes, including this odd bent long thin one.
I've found some interesting looking encrusted objects there that need a lot of work.

Tyhe parking lot was still there when this photo was taken. You can see a few cars in the lot.
I think it closed after the 2004 hurricanes.
I always tought it must have been an inlet at one time.
There was a time I hunted there before the parking lot was closed and it was eroded back near the water. It wouldn't have taken too much more erosion to reopen the inlet at that time.
