11/20/22 Report - Wind Blowing and Surf Increasing On Treasure Coast. Beach Developments. Gold Ring Research.

Written by the TreasureGuide for the exclusive use of the Treasure Beaches Report.

Turtle Trail Sunday Morniing Looking Back Towards the Beach Access.

It was windy this morning.  I went out to take a look at a couple beaches.  There were a couple other detectorists out this morning.

As you can see above, there were some small cuts.  The wind was mostly north and it was raining some.

Turtle Trail Sunday Morning Near the Frist Flag Pole.

I did get a few signals in the rough water but they were deep and I was unable to recover them with the equipment I had today.

The tide was still pretty high (before 9 AM).  Maybe when the tide goes down those targets will be more accessible.

Only a VERY small amount of the fabric from the erosion control bags was visible this morning.

Turtle Trail Sunday Morning South of the Second Flag Pole.

Wabasso Beach was closed this morning.  Don't know why.

Walton Rocks is till closed and probably will remain closed for some time.  I understand they are considering making some other beach a dog beach.

Seagrape Trail Sunday Morning.

The surf will be increasing today.

As you can see, the surf is supposed to increase, peaking tomorrow.

Yesterday I posted photos of a very interesting looking ring found by John along with the marks from the inside of the ring.  John wanted help to identify the ring.  I thought the marks looked like the Greek characters omega and eta followed by what I originally thought was a 4, but now think is a < 1.

Brian M. did some great research and sent the following message.

Hi TG , Johns ring looks like it may have been made by Zerrenner , F. from Germany c. 1900 . The 750 would be 18k .

See link below. It looks like the right maker's mark .

Thanks much for the research Brian.

I hope some of you who sent photos of reale finds will send additional photos after they get the coins cleaned.
