11/6/22 Report - Condition of Some South Hutchinson Island Beaches Sunday. Big Surf Predicted For This Week.

Written by the TreasureGuide for the exclusive use of the Treasure Beaches Report.

John Brooks Sunday Morning.

I was away for a couple of days.  This morning I got a chance to take a look at a few beaches.  First is John Brooks.

John Brooks Beach Sunday Morning.

Brooks was smooth and soft.  The water had been high, but was hitting straight on.

A Couple Hundred Yards South of Fort Pierce South Jetty.

Up by the jetty there was a big cut that was slightly refilled.  It was the only place I saw any cuts this morning.  The cut ran a long way to the south, as you can see above.

One or Two Foot Cut South of Fort Pierce South Jetty Sunday Morning.

I also visited Walton Rocks.  I didn't have time to do much detecting anywhere.

Walton Rocks Sjunday Morning.

Walton Rocks was not cut.

I saw two detectorists at Walton Rocks.

Bruce B. sent the following picture of a beach near St. Augustine.

I don't know how the Vero/Sebastian beaches are doing yet.

As you can see Wednesday and into Thursday there is supposed to be some big surf.

The high tides are still running high.

Below you can see the reason for the big surf.
