11/11/2022 Report - Turtle Trail, Rio Mar and John Brooks This Morning. Still A Few Beaches Closed.

Written by the TreasureGuide for the exclusive use of the Treasure Beaches Report.

John Brooks Beach Early Friday Morning.

I went out early this morning.  There were still some beaches closed.  Fort Pierce South Jetty was closed.  They were making repairs.  The little beach along the south causeway to Fort Pierce was closed for the same reason.  And Walton Rocks was still closed.

John Brooks Early Friday Morning.

No cuts at John Brooks except to the dunes at the top of the beach.  Those dunes are actually relatively new.  They developed since the 2004 storms.  Those new dunes make the beach look more narrow than it actually is.  They are out in front of the old back beach and well in front of the old crosswalk.

A beach does not have to be cut to produce reales. I've found reales and other interesting things on John Brooks when it was not cut. I didn't have time to check it with the metal detector this morning.

There were a couple detectorists there this morning.

I'll probably add to this post later today or add another post.  I saw some things this morning that I've never seen before.

There is a lot to talk about, but that is all the time I have right now.

Good hunting,
