11/9/22 - Addendum. Cautions and Updates.

Just an addendum to the main 11/9 post.

I just received these two photos of Wabasso beach from DJ.  They were taken just a little after noon Wednesday.

DJ  reports that Seagrape, Turtle Trail and Wabasso are now closed.

Seaway Drive is flooded in places as of Wednesday morning.

It now looks like the eye of Nicole is expected to land in the Fort Pierce/Vero area.

(2) St. Lucie County on Twitter: "St. Lucie County beaches will closed Nov. 8 at 5 pm prior to #TropicalStormNicole. Please stay off the beaches for the next few days due to the expected storm surge. You can check on beach conditions via our Visit St. Lucie live web cams. https://t.co/GToMibE1OI https://t.co/0SBpnPmBUD" / Twitter

I saw video of dune cliffs being hit and eroding this morning.

Here is Jaycee Park from Vero Beach Police Dept. Twitter,

As of 11:00 South Bridge at Fort Pierce is still open.  It will be closed when the wind reaches 45 mph.

South Jetty Park is to be closed - perhaps already is.
