The main thing today is the front coming through. The wind has been blowing from the north today and the surf is going to increase up to a peak of 4 -7 feet tomorrow. That is kind of borderline. It is enough to do some good if everything else is right. The high tides are pretty high yet, but not as high as recently.

A group of divers was looking for a sea monster in the waters of Lake Van, in Eastern Turkey and they made a rather amazing discovery. In the middle of the 3,555 square kilometres that make this lake the largest in the country, they were surprised to see an incredible historical site. A mysterious castle appeared in the depths of the lake.This vast, sunken castle is 3,000 years old and was built by the Urartu people, a kingdom established between the 6th and 9th centuries BC. The first question that comes to mind is how could such a castle have been built underwater in the Iron Age.
Like any other castle of the time, it was built when the water level in the lake was minimal. And when the water level rose, the inhabitants were of course forced to leave. Today, the lake is 150 metres deep...
