Al C. made some interesting finds. Above is a find that looks like it could be a pendant. I've been trying to make out the design on it. What do you think?
Here is a group of objects showing the pendant, a quarter for size comparison, and another lump of metal that Al thought could be either lead or silver.

I suggested he try to get an XRF analysis on those objects, and I really hope he does. Before cleaning, it is always helpful to know what material you are working with.

Looks like we'll have a 4 - 7 foot surf next week. That could open up some things again, especially after what we had recently.
