Al C. found this nice selection of shipwreck spikes Wednesday.

John Brooks Beach Thursday Afternoon.

I took a look at a variety of beaches today and saw a few with nice cuts.

John Brooks wasn't cut, but had a nice flat beach front.

Jaycee Park Thursday Afternoon.

The beach at Jaycee Park was eroding near high tide.

The water was up to the bank at Wabasso.

Ambersands didn't look very good.

Ambersands Near High Tide Thusday.

The access was still closed, and the entrance to Turtle Trail was blocked by construction equipment.  I imagine that was not all day long.

In summary, some beaches were eroding, but some more than others, of course.

Al found a nice collection of shipwreck spikes, and I'd bet some other nice finds were made this week.

It looks like we'll have a couple more days of fairly good surf.
